Seems as though Leeper and Walker are going to Austin...
Leeper leaving Indiana University
-
I am new to this page. I was shocked by so many negative comments against Leeper. I have known Leeper for a long time, and the comments are far from representative. Without Leeper, IU’s macro would not have improved so much over the last few years. My experience with his students has been quite positive—they are solid. To accuse him for discrimination is grossly mistaken. He generally puts a lot of effort to advise and promote students in their job search, whether US citizens or non-citizens. He also has a record of placing students in good policy institutions. If he leaves, it is definitely IU’s loss.

Hey Walker, the glorious RA.

I do not understand what you mean. Why is he trying to compensate for what?
Leeper strikes me as the kind of guy trying to compensate for something, if you know what I mean.
The junior macro guys, all two of them, at Texas are horrified at the prospect of him coming in and are looking to leave. Can't say that I blame them, -
don't be ridiculous. Lepeer's contribution is less than half. Todd IS a star and time will prove it. We would go after him but not Leeper
