   Any news?

   My references are contacted via email last week (my interview date was January 19 ); they are asked to fill out a quite lengthy question list; a bit funny that my Taleo status went back to "for-screening"...

   I was told by HR that contacting your references is definitely a good thing, and if not, that can give you an idea whether you are being selected or not. Mine haven't been contacted yet, or at least I haven't received any email yet informing me that they are starting to contact my references :( Education sector

   Nope. I applied for the education and the PPP stream but haven't received an interview invite (yet!). It seems like they've sent a few invites out already, though. Fingers crossed!

    I don’t remember mentioning mine either!! I also don’t remember them requiring us to provide for references in the application.

    Not to be a sour grape here, but out of a sudden so many different responses, one mentioned his/her referees are being contacted (that's usually the last step in standard HR process) and one mentioned about being invited to interview? How can the process be so different?

    No mention about virtual interview, written test etc. Smells fishy.

    Can you share your email to HR here? Why would HR reply with such specific advice? I thought their reply is usually generic and general, nothing too specific?

    Nice try, us citizen doesn't require visa to enter the Philippines.
