This is great news. Humans are the worlds greatest resource. Imagine the inventions and scientific discoveries they will generate. This will definitely not lead to mass starvation, warfare or slavery.
Something increasingly invogue on the left is intersectional politics where every issue is connected with every other issue. Combatting climate change is said to require not just reducing carbon emissions (eg. carbon tax) but reducing income and gender inequality. Decreasing risk of cascading financial institution failure involves not just limits on risk taking by systematically important institutions but combating climate change.
