1) Challenge your candidate. Seriously, I don't want to work in an environment where I am not challenged. Only through challenging you can find out whether I understand what I am talking about. And it is fun, and I learn.
2) Ask about future research. Don't you want to know where I am heading? If not, I feel like you have no strategy for your school.
3) For heavens sake don't invite me to fill your slots. If you want me, you do not need to interview me first. If you do not want me, why wasting your and my time?

5) Tell me why your school is the best pick for me.
6) read the JMP. And by the way, if you do not understand the most basic things, I get a very bad impression about the mean IQ at your school...\
