   RoF trolls tried hard to inflate RoF status, which I can understand as there are lots of people with vested interest.
   UNSW trolls tried hard to bash UNSW, which I don't understand given its relatively low profile. Why are there so many haters?

   I’m confused how bent out of shape some people get about UNSW. From their recent hires it’s obvious they’re doing just fine.

   UNSW is full of Asian junior APs who failed to place at a research school (like top 150) in the US. I personally know 7-8 of its current/former APs and NONE of them had an offer from a US school when they were in the rookie job market.

   The majority of its research productivity has come from RM and RA. Now that RA left, its future doesn't look so bright.

    RA is productive at UNSW? LOL, plz check Bohui Zhang’s profile. RM and BZ contribute about 50% of the top 4 publications in last 6 years. And Idk how people ranking the universities. QS? Number of the top 4 publications?

    They also can’t hire a professor emeritus. They thought they had one, but he pulled out at the last minute because the wife refused to go to a small town in Alabama. No one wants to go there unless they have to.
