Basically Amazon is saying that Parler cannot rent server space from Amazon to run their network. Parler is mostly shut down until they can find a new server.
Amazon just booted Parler off of their servers

Not a fan of this action. Providing them with 24 hours warning on a weekend, with presumably no prior warnings.
I thought the law in the US said that platforms aren't responsible for user content. It's impossible to move an app's services off a cloud provider in that time (probably weeks - months at earliest). Think of all the AWS services they are probably using and data that is there.

Yeah, we should come up with some purity test to decide who gets to be hosted on the internet!

Are you talking about Amazon or Parlor?
It will make you think twice about using Amazon if they will attempt to destroy your business at the drop of a hat.

Precisely. It is possible but unlikely that they had a backup plan for this situation.
I imagine they could rush a migration in about a week to provide a barebones service. But finding a new host may be tricky if they are all going to bend the knee. So then they might have to consider self hosting which takes a long time.

These past four days have made me reconsider where I source my products from, but not in the way they think tho.
