yes we packaged the bonus with the salary. So you will see a higher base, but that's with the bonus included. That's why we multiply by 15.3 months bonus lol..not accurate!
The current standard NUS A/P package is: SG$180k salary (base+market allowance) + subsidized faculty housing (about SG$30k nominal value for tax purposes) for up to 9 years.
The bonus is decided every year based on a multitude of factors starting from Singapore's GDP growth to how well your performance in research, teaching and service was scored for that particular year. You will have to be publishing sole-authored top-5 and having teaching evaluations through the roof to have anything close to 3 months' bonus. If your performance is average, you won't even get 1 month's salary worth. It is also possible to earn $0 bonus - it is a performance-based scheme.
