please look up “trustworthy” in a decent dictionary. then think about the subject of your second sentence for a moment. who should be honest? the data or the authors of those papers i that you complain about?!
and... if you read those papers carefully, you should be able to figure out how much to trust their claims. isn’t that the way to proceed when reading theory or applied work with field data as well?
random thought: the problem with internet is that it is essentially free and everybody feels like contributing to the bulls hit that it accumulates. would you have asked the above question if that had cost you 50 cents?
