Many people I know are nominally Christian or Jew, but that’s mainly a cultural identifier. In the sense that if you press them on their actual beliefs, they acknowledge they don’t believe any of that supernatural stuff.

Js are a people too so an atheist J would still be counted as a J. But I agree with you overall. I'm quite sure the vast majority was/is not religious.

Where are the Nobel Prize winners from -10k BC to 1k AD? We all know what was Europe and US doing back then compared to Asia. Rise of the West is just a blip in the history of mankind.
