I am curious about other JMCs, there are three missing in the current placement
Bonn Placement 2021

they admit 25 people every year, place 5. Kudos.
They don't accept 25 people every year which you could have easily fact-checked before posting:

How many European universities are able to place into Harvard??? Their placements have been amazing so no reason to get jealous if your uni isn't as good!23 people in 2020. Checked. I guess the previous years are the same minus attrition due to people realizing that they are in Bonn.
But sure, the selected 5 guys that survived are very good.Why do people enjoy lying? Let me just show you something. Bonn only started to admit 15+ students very recently (in 2017), you can check each cohort size:
* Cohort 2015 (some placed last year already) - 10 students - https://www.bgse.uni-bonn.de/en/people/student-directory/2015
* Cohort 2016 (going on market next year) - 13 students - https://www.bgse.uni-bonn.de/en/people/student-directory/2016
* Cohort 2017 (going on the market in 2 years) - 17 students - https://www.bgse.uni-bonn.de/en/people/student-directory/2017
* Cohort 2018 - 17 students
* Cohort 2019 - 19 students
* Cohort 2020 - 23 students
Also, it is expected that some students have the preference not to stay in academia, and that is also fair and respectable. Excluding 2019, Bonn has consistently placed on average 10 students either in academia or CBs, IMFs, and other research institutions, each year! 10 out of 15 seems pretty good to me. This year, a bit below average, they have 7 on the job market, 4 already placed. Why all the jealousy?This is not true. They admit more students, and lose them on the way (some are so disappointed in the program that they drop out).

I'm super shocked to see that despite being an LRM by US standard, Bonn has a placement record comparable to US top 10 (e.g. two Harvard TT) in 2020.
How did they manage to make it? E.g. Is it because the European structure of PhD promote better supervision? What can US schools learn from their European peers?You should compare these guys with top 5 guys in HRM schools. Median Bonn placement is an unknown consultant firm in Dusseldorf (but you won't find it on their website, these include people who got so frustrated with the program that they gave up getting PhD).
I doubt that Mannheim is any better. There are structural problems in german academia that cannot be solved by tricking prospective students to come to any of these places

Stop this man! This has been being repeated to the point where it doesn't seem even funny.
Next time you repeat the Harvard, you go and listen Baby shark twiceDo you have anything else to say other than 'stop this man' if you want to defend your claim? If there is only one Harvard in their placements, fair enough. But more than one isn't a coincidence. And if you are jealous, too bad!!!
Also, let's drop Harvard for a second. Check other places in their placements in the last 5 years and compare them with other universities around the world. And if you cannot see a clear upward trend in their placements which brings Bonn close to top US unis, then go do something else with your life.No coincidence. It is BE, his wife, and his coauthor TG.

Yeah, and for some the program is too difficult after an easy bachelor in some other university, or some have personal reasons to drop out.

I really liked AB's JMP, when I saw her present. Tbh I'm not sure why she isn't getting offers, giver her research portfolio e letters.
I agree. I'm sure she'll do great in the end

End of story!
