   Smear People... really? How do you justify the fact that all papers in this special issue have RS & VK students/center scholars as co-authors? It's like if you want ur paper in SI add my scholar's name. This SI is a joint venture of ISB & GSU scholars. Not a single paper is without an author added by these two guys. Good ISB and GSU are now free from their clutches

It's like if you want ur paper in SI add my scholar's name. This SI is a joint venture of ISB & GSU scholars. Not a single paper is without an author added by these two guys.    You can say the same thing about the invited papers at JM by CM. Keep digging social links of authors on those pieces and there are a lot of Pitt connections, among others. My point is, you want to pick on VK and because of that you end up smearing authors who may have had nothing to do with the grand agendas that the editors had in assembling such teams.

   CM did the same thing little more discreetly. She let many questionable articles pass at JM and the connections are very clear.

    There is difference between having strong opinions on issues versus engaging in quid pro quo. CM may have her likes or dislikes, but she didn't sell the journal out, unlike previous JMR and JM editors widely discussed on this forum.

    HS - mercurial rise, but well accomplished. VM & CL - not surprising, and DM - well, don't know much about her. I guess JM has indeed become the broad journal it always aspired to be.
