A good that is truly non-rival and non-excludable?
Can anyone give me an example of a public good?
-
Wrong. Just program it so the missle can be let through if you don't pay. Could easily be provided by the public sector!
Missile defense shield
This actually happened in the real world. Some guy living in an illegal community near the Gaza border was hit and killed, because Iron dome didn't cover it. I do think they changed it since.

Just redraw the border so it does not include the guy who does not pay for security. Easy!
Just ban someone who does not pay from drinking the lakewater. Easy!Defending a border should qualify. Or a dam.
Borders are fixed.
Dams like in Holland prevent flooding. Can't exclude anyone.

Then say "dy kes," not "dams." You can always allow channels in the dy ke.
Your comment on borders is so stupid that I leave it to your own reflection to rebut.Just redraw the border so it does not include the guy who does not pay for security. Easy!

Anyone got an example? Are we pretty certain all goods can be provided through the market?
Sure all goods CAN be provided through a market, but in many situations the public sector will offer a better alternative than the private sector. This is called market failure. It will be covered in the second week of your econ 101 course. Patience.
