All parties will continue the high level of immigration. Once Libs or Cons increase the level of immigration, the other party will never decrease it. They would be called anti immigration if they did. If Polivere (sp) wins the next election, zero chance he decreases immigration.
There is a fringe party that wants to reduce it to 150k a year, but with Canada’s election system, that is like throwing away your vote.
They voted for it. Over and over again even if they complain about it in between elections.

This is not happening. There are now fewer construction workers than a few decades ago. Meanwhile a million new people are entering a country of 38m every two years. Completely false. Immigrants constantly working underpaid jobs in positions they are overqualified for. Their unemployment numbers are minuscule, especially a few years after landing. Canada essentially exploits immigrants for cheap labor.

Because it's speaking over each other's heads. I imagine most people thinking migration is too high include all people of migration heritages whereas official data would include someone born in CA, even to immigrant parents, as native. Making comparison to early 20th is also misleading because of the scale involved. There were only 5 million Canadians in 1900 and much of the migration was from the same ancestral origins as existing Canadians.

Immigrants in CAnada think there are too many indians and chinese coming in. And yet he continues to do it because he doesn't want to deal with the problems and just wants votes. Trudeau is one of the worst politicians out there. But canadians arent r-wing people so they will continue to vote for him until there is a viable alternative. Western countries need more service and trades people, low skill healthcare workers, k-12 teachers, and truckers. Last thing we need is more STEM immigrants.

If you want to understand who the power brokers are behind mass immigration, just look at scotiabank ads during hockey coverage. The first ad: "hockey is ra/cist, se/xist, etc.". The second ad is about an indian immigrant who just arrived in Canada and opens up a bank account with Scotia. That's basically all you need to know. The big banks and telecom firms are absolutely milking the system and they want that population growth to boost profits. Big pension funds are heavily invested in big banks, Bell Canada, Rogers, etc. to pay for fat boomer pensions. The whole thing is a self-reinforcing mess mainly driven by the need to pay boomers ridiculous pensions. There you have it.
