   Demand side here. Flight cancelled, rebooked tomorrow morning. One on our team is already in Philly, so interviews will take place. We did make a call today to fill a spot after a candidate cancelled.

   I don't understand the why demand side is not going make it to Philly. They can fly to a regional airport and get a ride. University is paying the tickets anyways. A little extra money worth making proper interviews

   Maybe your university pays! My Department (no rank) probably has no idea that I’m in the job market.

    Maybe your university pays! My Department (no rank) probably has no idea that I’m in the job market.

    There are people on my flight that are talking oaying 350 for a uber xl.

    This is why meat should always plan to arrive two days before the AEAs begin. It's worth paying an extra night at the hotel for the diminished risk of missing a day of interviews.

    Yes, be in contact with demand side. Wait for more specific info about your arrival, then tell them when you will be available.
