I've rejected a few women (I almost never talk about my girlfriend and I'm kind of flirty, gives off the wrong impression), a couple of times I've had really bizarre reactions. Then again I've seen guys have really bizarre reactions to getting rejected as well, and the kind of women who hit on an aspie nerd like me are probably not the best barometer for women as a whole.

I remember a BBC "experiment" from about 15 years ago, in which an attractive girl asked random guys for their phone number, and an attractive guy asked random girls for their phone number. If I remember correctly the girl got rejected less than 10% of the time, but the guy got rejected more than 95% of the time.

definitely not, women go crazy when they get rejected. If men acted the way women do, then 'sexual harassment'/stalking/etc would be serious problems, not just something for whiny privileged feminists to complain about

I have a long term girlfriend. At bars, when I have friendly conversations with girls, sometimes it trends towards "want to get another drink?" or "want to dance?" or "want to grab dinner?" I just say I have plans and have to go in a bit. About 1/3 then get irate and ask me aggressively if I'm a f**got, another 1/3 are just like oh well, and the last 1/3 try to give me their number. I was seeing a few girls at once, all met through online dating, when I decided when I wanted to focus on one particular (my current gf now), and so in a mature fashion let the others know I did not want to pursue anything further with them.
Now, these girls I met a max of once, twice, or maybe even zero times (still talking online) and had literally ZERO physical contact with them, but holy sh*t the crazy reactions that came from some of them.
