When will dieversity advocates get tired of their unsubstantiated grift?
Don't you guys get tired of making threads about how you dislike "divrsity"?

Don't you guys have anything more enjoyable to do with your time? Wouldn't it be nicer to think of something positive rather than drown in negative thoughts 24/7?;
I don't see too many people making this argument

Rather, I see "I don't like that meritocracy has been nerfed for group x" which, imo, is a perfectly reasonable position to take.I agree they make the argument of kick against those trying to push down meritocracy, but man the anti African sentiment here is real. I didn't know this before and never agreed with it until I started seeing myself.
One was debating me after England's loss at the euros. He said the French people who won the world cup in 2018 didn't all look like him, so they didn't represent his country, France. Some asked a follow up question: are you saying the French soccer association fielded non french people as french? The said guy got annoyed and started mumbling. I was shocked that day.
Many such examples, even here in the US.
So, I agree with you that an all out anti meritocratic move should not be supported, but I also believe the hidden disdain for certain people should not be supported too.
As an evidence of what I'm saying, come back after 1 hour and see how many no-jab this post of mine will have gotten.

You got us- we're racist, and we don't want to live in a country with millions of African migrants and eventually have to submit to their rule once they grow to sufficient numbers. Sue us.
There is a thread about Africa's projected population growth. This goes much deeper than complains about affirmative action in the US.

What difference do you make by constantly posting about this on EJMR?
Why not try to enjoy what there is to enjoy about life? Chances are that, even if your forecast is true, it won't happen in your lifetime. What do you gain by being so bitter and angree all the time?

Seeing more and more Africans come into your society and occupying positions once held by non-Africans, and being okay with that, would count as pro-African.
^Why should we be pro-African? Why do we owe them anything?
What's pro-African?
Lol, that doesn't even make sense.

I guess it's the impulse to do something about this problem. I just want to feel like I'm doing something, however small, to raise awareness about the coming flood of Africans and the need to step up border security to repel them. Additionally, there's always the chance that this can become a meme, and memes spread on the Internet like wildfire. The influence of memes is often underappreciated- just look at how much they helped in the election of Donald Trump.
And I am concerned about the fate of the nation beyond my lifetime as well, because I love this country and also because I plan to have children and will hopefully have grandchildren. I don't want them to have to flee to U.S., and I don't want them to have to live in an Afrocentric U.S. either.

The meritocracy could be 100% pure with those issues remaining unchangedAgreed those posts are scum but they make up the minority and there is a decent chance they are posted by the wolfers army.

Fine, it's Africa-tolerant. And I am not Africa-tolerant. Because I'm scared of the future that Africa-tolerance will bring.

I guess part of the problem is that the first group justifies their position using the points made by the second. So for the observer it is difficult to separate the two.

I see "I don't like that meritocracy has been nerfed for group x" which, imo, is a perfectly reasonable position to take.
There was never any meritocracy to begin with. Some races were advantaged by their skin color and systemic factors, which led to their accumulation of wealth, which they translated into priviledges (e.g. easier ivy league acceptances, old boys networks, etc.), which persist across generations. There's no merit behind coming from wealthier upbringing.
Even if we were to try and make things as merit-based now as possible, you can't wipe away hundreds of years of entrenched differences between races. The only way is to systematically favor now those who were disadvantaged in the past. Harvard, Princeton, and all the ivies ought to not admit a single whyte student for at least two generations to even things out.It is not really that some were privileged. White privilege is a myth and very bad terminology. It's rather that some were disfavored and treated wrong (enslaved, denied access to land, couldn't fairly participate in the labor market at the time due to then prevailing racism, segregated, denied some civic rights, etc...). We can agree on fixing the plight of the disfavored without blaming the others.

Dude, a piece of advice: you would be better off in life if you acknowledged your limited capacity of understanding things around you.
There's a fine line between open-mindedness and stvpid naivete.
Fine, it's Africa-tolerant. And I am not Africa-tolerant. Because I'm scared of the future that Africa-tolerance will bring.
I bet you are. Usually people with low I Q are scared of weird things.

I do acknowledge it. And I believe it's better to avoid things you don't understand if they have the potential to cause irreversible damage.
