Lol, but you believe you have the knowledge to judge "irreversible damage"?
I do acknowledge it. And I believe it's better to avoid things you don't understand if they have the potential to cause irreversible damage.
The potential is there. I invite you to walk through the bad parts of Baltimore or D.C. or St. Louis or Atlanta and see for yourself. I don't claim to be high-IQ. I just don't want myself, my children, or my grandchildren to live in a blk-dominated country. Just my preference.

I see "I don't like that meritocracy has been nerfed for group x" which, imo, is a perfectly reasonable position to take. There was never any meritocracy to begin with. Some races were advantaged by their skin color and systemic factors, which led to their accumulation of wealth, which they translated into priviledges (e.g. easier ivy league acceptances, old boys networks, etc.), which persist across generations. There's no merit behind coming from wealthier upbringing.
Even if we were to try and make things as merit-based now as possible, you can't wipe away hundreds of years of entrenched differences between races. The only way is to systematically favor now those who were disadvantaged in the past. Harvard, Princeton, and all the ivies ought to not admit a single whyte student for at least two generations to even things out.It is not really that some were privileged. White privilege is a myth and very bad terminology. It's rather that some were disfavored and treated wrong (enslaved, denied access to land, couldn't fairly participate in the labor market at the time due to then prevailing racism, segregated, denied some civic rights, etc...). We can agree on fixing the plight of the disfavored without blaming the others.
No one is blaming anyone -- the damage is long done. But things can be evened up going forward so that future generations can have a legitimate meritocracy (and not have some with a leg up because of their family background). The evening of outcomes, however, is a necessary intermediate step.
And by “evening things up” you mean discriminating against straight male whytes don’t you? Even if one believes that the descendants should be punished for the crimes of the ancestors (I don’t), not one of my ancestors owned slaves. To the contrary, many of my ancestors were ardent abolitionists.

You should be glad that there are smarter people making decisions for you. Otherwise you would be living in a cave and dancing for more rainfall.
Ironically I believe it’s the Africans who show the highest tendency to dance for rainfall.

So tell me- why do you welcome the flood of Africans? Do you think it’ll be good for you and your descendants?

I think people with low I Q are the main problem. And, as you stated, you are one of them.
Science says sub-Saharan Africans have the lowest IQs

Some will always have a leg up, it is normal, natural, expected and probably desirable (since accumulated capital is what allows big investments forward). It is bad to want to break others' leg up, as though you aren't doing your best to pass a leg up to your kid.
Legs down are the only things which need repair. Let legs up alone.
