It's terrible that universities ask for diversity statements. However, conditional on universities using diversity statements, it is helpful that people write things like this which allow everyone to write a statement which will not get them censored out of the pool if they so choose.

My problem with that sentence is that I literally don't know what she meant. Weird usage of "apart." Did she mean "a part?"

ive never seen a successful economist who didnt write well in all correspondence its like i always tell my students get back to work and use punctuation or i sue
