OMG. This entire group on Twitter is even dumber than my prior. I knew because of affirmative action and the rank of schools they are at, these people would not be our best, but seriously. Why did the Econ profession decide to groom LC for this instead of someone actually good? Say you said “it has to be a black women.” Identity politics is bad for us, so please stop doing that. But even if you were going to do that, why not groom Washington at Yale or Hoxby at Stanford?

because stable monetary policy is not something they are interested in. Most of the elites have well diversified portfolios. But undermining American savers is a way to create a permanent underclass dependent upon the largess of the state.
