6K+ buildings collapsed and the number is rising. Even if you assume 40 people living in each building on average (a very conservative estimate), that makes about 25K people under collapsed buildings. Most will be declared dead in upcoming days unfortunately. :(

i agree. the toll is larger than 100K unfortunately.
News censored here...I expect at least 100K dead. In 1999 they reported 17K dead reality was 80K. That earthquake Sent the secular politicians home. This one will finish off Islamists. Earthquakes are stres tests for corruption.

They have to give you the numbers as they take bodies out. They cannot say 20K, 50K or whatever at this stage and declare everyone not reached as dead. There’s not even a way to know how many are still under ruins. Please do not bring politics even to this. It’s not time for that. Fortunately for you, the official dead numbers will skyrocket soon and then you can finish Islamists off.
