Does anybody know when EFA decisions will be sent? It says by December but that could be any time between tomorrow and new years. I know that EFA has more submissions than SWFA but the submission deadlines were the same and SWFA decisions have been out for a month already. I don't see why EFA needs so much time.

Are you sure about that. Given the size of last years program and minimum number of submissions that I know for a fact based on highest submission number of the papers I reviewed I was thinking it would be a 40-50% acceptance rate.
You have a 75% chance of acceptance. Unless your paper was raw, or just an abstract, you should be ok.

I strongly doubt they reject 50%.
HRM rarely go to Eastern Finance. Heavy on student submissions. Usually they get people trying to slide in with a weak draft or abstract too. Those are the most vulnerable.
Is your paper fairly polished?
It's a decent conference, don't get me wrong. But less selective than FMA or even MFA. MUCH less selective than NFA, which is a darn good conference.

It is not super polished but it got me a job at a 2-2 school last year. I thought the good location this year might cause the acceptance rate to fall lower than normal.
