   WTF 306e : I never ever said or suggested in my post above that the people who flunked the courses of Professors Mendoza and Das, and are now whining about them on this site, were undergrads. You were the one who (falsely) assumed that. I simply said they are assholes (like you). I said they are assholes because they cannot assail the published works of these professors in this Journal, so they would rather engage in personal attacks (including asking why their pictures, etc., are posted -- that is the practice of some Indian/Asian journals to discourage plagiarism, etc.) . So it is baffling to me that you can simply assume that they are "undergraduate students" and "whistleblowers"??? That is just sick.

   Besides, what gives you or any one the right to call any journal "fake" simply because it might duplicate the name of another journal? Perhaps, you have not published anything at all. There are several highly reputable journals out there with the same exact titles or names. See for example the Journal of Public Health (published by Oxford University Press: http://jpubhealth.oxfordjournals.org) and the Journal of Public Health (published by Springer: http://link.springer.com/journal/10389). It does not really matter what the name of the publication or journal is; what matters is that the articles published are original and refereed.

   Looks like people are using these exchanges because they have a personal grudge at a certain professor/s, who is/are singled out in these exchanges.
   I don't think it matters where one published, as long as it his/her own original work. If a journal or publication duplicates the name of another journal, let their editors worry about it. Besides, there are several reputable journals with the same exact names.

   I simply do not and can not waste my time on this site where anonymous bloggers capitalize (on their fictitious names to) try to get back at their professors by bulls**tting over trivial issues, like calling journals fake, etc.

   As other people here have correctly noted, these whining bloggers simply have an ax to grind against their professors so they are attacking them very personally and indirectly (that is very obvious) by complaining over trivial matters, like names of journals that might duplicate each other. I perfectly agree with "Economist
   e434." He cited two very highly respected, indexed, and well-cited journals that operate in the same academic field and duplicate each other names/titles, word for word (Journal of Public Health published by Oxford University Press and Journal of Public Health published by the equally distinguished Springer). No one whines over these journals' duplicated names/titles. I have other distinguished journals in mind (in other fields, including business, finance, etc.) with the same exact titles or names. No one also whines over their purpose or intention in duplicating each other's names/titles.

   I also reviewed the biography of Professor Alessandro Morselli (see: http://www.dipecodir.it/docenti/index.php?page=Curriculum&idutente=144) posted above by this idiot known as "Economist 5e01." I do not see anything wrong with his listed works including those published in economics journals. What is important (like someone said above) is that the materials published are legitimate, original and peer-reviewed. It does not matter if the academic journal in which they published duplicated the name or title of another journal.

   Let me make this clear as an attorney: THERE IS NO LAW, AND THERE CANNOT BE ANY LAW, PROHIBITING A JOURNAL OR ANY PUBLICATION FROM DUPLICATING THE NAME OF ANOTHER. That would be like prohibiting a parent from naming their newly born John Smith simply because there are millions of John Smith already existing in this world!

    Please use a very similar but slightly different logo (maybe a bit darker M) so that customers know that they are not in McDonald's.

    As a matter of fact McDonald's example is not reflecting all the story. People would actually know once they are in the restaurant (though they may give up search). For journals, the journal name is a signal of quality and evaluation of quality is very costly. NO ONE would read your 40 articles to see your quality Professor Alessandro Morselli, no one! They will simply look at journal names in most cases. You are an abomination.
