Before getting the calls/emails, how can you tell if a school is interested in you? Serious answers, please.
Eye contact, sometimes with a slight lift of the eyebrow when your eyes meet. Light physical contact. Sometimes they might seem nervous when talking to you, even with a slight stutter. Also pay attention to body language, do they face you and appear attentive when you are talking? These are all positive signs.

Flyouts or virtual interviews? If flyouts, that is pretty terrible. Two of my students got their mass email for FMA but couldn't go to FMA because of school policy. If they started flyouts, they bypassed those that couldn't go to FMA which is not very fair IMO.
