good job big boy.
Check the AACSB report. The median salary for AP is 150K. 160K is only slightly higher than the median.
The Univ of Dayton looks strong. Why they are posting so late.
Yeah I'm inexperienced but this seems way too late. Maybe they just got a notification from a retiring faculty?
They don't pay much.. 160k for AP
How is 160k "not much"? There's no point benchmarking to R1 salary. 160k is really good for a balanced school.
Rookie. Their interviews are from Wednesday to Friday. Maybe someone declined interviews or dab1 is very good and got an early flyout.
Not sure what dab1 got, but I have interviews with them tomorrow. What did they call for?
BTW Washington State Called
Are you rookie or seasoned?
I am pretty shocked by their low pay. WSU only pays 160k + summer while comparable schools pay around 175~200k.

But Washington has no state tax

Several schools in no-tax states generally pay around 10-15k less than their peers.
Anyone have any clue what UNBC (northern british columbia) would pay? They look small but well funded.
The answer is: not good. They had a major negotiation between faculty and the school, but in 2010 assistants couldn't make more than 80k. I don't believe it has risen much (below 100k most likely).
