You also forgot Dauphine that has several people with top pubs (if that is the performance measure they have more people with top pubs than many schools mentioned above) but low salaries.
Not sure many European countries do better and not sure of the percentage of US or Chinese finance departments where people really care about research.

The head-hunting for fraudster is aggressive. Thanks to them Skema will progress in rankings during a while, but the reputation damage will be devastating. In fact, it's already out there. Besides, there is no job stability, there is an endless tenure review system. I wish I could leave but my applications are rejected when they see Skema on my CV. I'm done.
RU and LC don't really count. They are at EDHEC because EDHEC wants an affiliation, they are the only research-active people at their campuses and spend more time at other places anyway (and I've heard of major personality issues). The Nice campus of EDHEC actually has a research environment.
Location does not matter. The question is can other faculty cooperate with LC and RU. Given their agenda, not much. Obviously, it is not because two of them.
Saying this all FBS and EDHEC among them are pushed by administrators who never read or wrote paper to conduct research on social issues, climate, environment and other non core stuff
