I'm in the verge of getting tenure denied.
If I come out, would that get me tenure. For DEI reasons.
Our school hardly have LGBT professors.

Could be discrimination as well. Tenure process is anonymous, so conservative deadwoods probably veto your case. check the abortion movement lately, you will be surprised by how conservative people are.
Yes. I saw someone on another forum who admitted to sabotaging a junior because he thought he was "disgusting" (read: he found out the junior is gay)
I know this is a troll but it might only help you if you pass the department vote. Usually, the department votes on whether you deserve tenure, then it goes to the deans. I have heard of cases (although rare) where the department all voted yes and then for some reason the university voted no. Theoretically, you could claim to be gay in your letter to the university and say you try to include underrepresented views about LGBT in your teaching which might help. At the end of the day, it probably wouldn’t make much of a difference unless being gay someone influenced the department vote.
the premium is negative due to monkeypox. You think gay professors go to circuit parties and have hot orgies? Lmao no. Gay profs aren't getting monkeypox
Girl, yes we do. Precisely because there's no gay premium and nobody gives a ish for the better or the worse.
