insane, but not surprised. We flew out 50/50 though we had 31% female applicants. When that was told in the faculty meeting, no one dared raised a hand. We\'ve only two or three hardcore woke famminists out of 50+ faculty, and that\'s enough for everyone to be scared as hell to raise the issue...

I'm confused by what this means. Places having 9+ candidates out had out 83% female candidates? That's impossible, so I must be wrong. What's the correct interpretation?
