This, to many Dubai is not a place to be. But for poor European and whiles, that place is heaven, you live well, earn tons of money and will soon retire. I would kill to be there honestly.
So far no sign of a serious reaction from GM (or ER) But silence here won’t work because the questions raised in the OP linger! They must be betting on people forgetting this thread which says all that is needed. A couple of seeing defenders (possibly GM and ER) didn’t do anything cause they didn’t address the questions raised in the OP.
If you are an economist, consider GM’s incentives. Does she gain anything at all by calling out Dan Houser in particular?

If she has a pattern of flirting aggressively at conferences, her credibility discounts heavily. I'm not saying she deserves to be groped if she flirts. But the question is "did the alleged groping behavior even happen at all??"
According to her, DH allegedly groped her at a conference in a room full of people. I'm not sure about so called "many accusations". JD is not a credible source either. I've met DH a few times at conferences. He doesn't strike me as a stupid person. Groping women at conferences with his students and colleagues around? Really? That sounds very stupid and hard to believe. I think it's more likely GM made the whole thing up.
Another possibility, given GM's historical pattern of targeting senior male economists at conferences, is it possible GM tried to flirt with DH and DH was not interested. So GM made up the story just to get back at DH? Sounds a reasonable possibility to me. I've checked DH's CV, it looks like he has been department chair for many years. I would think that being a university administrator would make him more sensitive to title IX related issues. Probably have to deal with those type of accusations against his faculty routinely. Hard to believe DH would something stupid like this.

You know nothing about Georgia. What she was doing was way past just being friendly.
Does GM have history of making false accusations? I know some people are that type, whenever things don’t go their way or they have a grudge against someone, they make up accusations.

When forming beliefs about the probability that she is being honest, the level of moral turpitude she displayed in pursuing ER (married with kids) is relevant.

The OP did NOT try to defend DH (read line 1). She even said she believes the accusations (by others)! The OP simply said that GM is a hypocrite and that she uses every opportunity to advance her career. Why are you defending a person (GM) for whom there exist reasonable questions? If it’s you Georgia, just answer the questions in the OP.
Also the OP wrote of “over the top” behavior. That doesn’t sound like friendliness!

DH has a reputation. GM has a bad reputation as well. All of that should be part of the truth behind these accusations. Is she the only one making public accusations against DH?
I agree. Whatever she does with her private life, it's her problem... But I feel that the whole situation is unfair. DH is been punished for his despicable behavior. Good for that! As a woman, I am tired of dealing with these sick people. But what GM and ER did is as bad as what DH did, or even worse. I know adultery is not a crime, but its impacts sometimes are worst than sexual harassment...

That is not true. I am a woman, and you can tell that many women are joining this conversation. This post is important because it brings FACTS that must be part of the whole picture.
And most importantly, think about ER' ex wife... GM is not a victim here, and it is not the HERO she pretends and wants to be. As a woman, GM is disgusting and will never represent any METOO movement.
These types of opportunistic accusations and narcissism affect the credibility of the real victims of sexual harassment.
