Then don't?
so we have an equilibrium
i mean the salary has to be higher just to compensate that on a W pay scale, you pay neither pension nor unemployment insurance contributions. the question is whether it's higher even after that.
You think you will get a state pension in Germany in 30 years? lol
The state pension is at least guarenteed by the Grundgesetz. That you will get the Rente is less likely.

If it's up to the Green party, in the future, professors (and other civil servants) will have to contribute to the pension system; a big advantage of being a professor in the German system will thus disappear. (This change in law will probably not apply to existing professors/civil servants but only to future ones.)

Beamtenbund will go to Karlsruhe, hergebrachte Grundsätze des Berufsbeamtentums, Alimentationsprinzip etc pp, and there you go.
Lol. Politicians can simply reduce the "Sätze des pensionsfähigen Ruhegehaltes."
Has been done before, from 75% to 71,75%. Can easily see them going to 65% and so on.

What about the youngsters ranking? Last time was Scheuer with some distance, but I think he's over 40 now. Rothe?
As every time around the days where VfS annual meeting takes place.
When is the new forschungsmonitoring VWL ranking coming out? Who will be on top of it? Dunstmann, Strulik, Schoar?
if you want to beat any basic w3 salary you must pay at least 120k to compensateSo estimate is 120k+x?
sad reality is most private universities pay less than state uni in D. be happy you have a job at all after your postdoc

Only sometimes, politicians really have "skin in the game". And everybody can see how they behave in these situations.
-> Like any economist and like most homo oeconomicus*innen (To be honest - I would act alike). Own interests are safeguarded, while externalities are usually ignored. This also explains why the parliament size or lobbyism will not be effectively decreased by any reform.
There could be additional Betriebsrenten in the spirit of the VBL.
