Researchers may also wish to consider the e-letters published with "Science":
https://science.org/doi/10.1126/science.abb9789The comments are devastating. None was published, and our was desk rejected. This way "Science" protected the nonsens that was originally submitted before data were available.2/2

"darin distanzieren sich die mitglieder:innen u.a. von seximus und rassismus."
The word "mitglied" is neuter. But I get it: gotta win those social justice bonus points on Twitter!

Hows German Job Market this year?
The German Job Market has been stable for years. Stable at essentially zero. Of course, there is the odd reshuffling, with X going from W3 at A to W3 at B to get a raise, or X staying at B because of a Bleibeangebot and A dealing with a failed search. But generally speaking, if you are a Postdoc or glorified Postdoc (=W1/W2 without tenure), the line is pretty flat.

Big spikes in job openings for W2/W3 are usually when there is a generational turnover at professorships. There are of course some job openings for W2/W3 here and there but usually if you're inbetween cohorts or if you miss the turnover it's tough to get a tenured position.

Then what's the news about the recent spike in applied econ openings?
- Cologne W2/W3 Economics/Management
- Heidelberg W3 Labor / Political Economy
- Dortmund W2/W3 Applied Micro
- Hohenheim W3 Digital Transformation
- Münster W3 Digital Transformation
- Konstanz W3 Applied Micro
- Würzburg W1/W3 Data Science
Any rumours about who's reshuffling and who managed to jump on the bandwagon?Hows German Job Market this year?

Wow these lists take ages to trickle down. Can't believe FR still hasn't accepted one of them.
