We are moving the other way. Tenure for postdocs now political will in Berlin. Others will follow. The good news is that there is an abundance of good postdocs on the market right now. Of course doesnt address moral hazard
Tenure should be abolished. Marginal productivity of many deadwood Professors is far below their wage. Moral hazard at its best.
