I don't get the "straffe Geldpolitik". We are part of the Eurosystem and thus decisions have to be made for the euro area as a whole. So unless you want to go back to the DM, this is not an option. ECB will be coming around, but probably too late to prevent savers from losing a good chunk of money. But hey, we always wondered how exactly we're going to end the Eurozone crisis. Inflating our way out of debt was always one of the options and it's probably a price worth paying.
And with regards to Klimagedoens, it all depends on your discount factor. Giglio and others wrote about this, I think, so we can resort to actual literature to debate whether it's worthwhile investing with such a long horizon and unclear outcome. But I guess this is no longer the thread to do that in.......
