Meyebeer und Schaapmeyer sind im deutschen Sprachraum wohl die einzigen Ökonomen, die die wissenschaftliche Reputation des Instituts wiederherstellen könnten. Vorausgesetzt natürlich, Schaapmeyer wird nicht nach Stuttgart berufen bzw. lehnt ab.
