What other positions is it comparable to? Where can I find profiles of people who went there?
How hard is it to get FTC as IO student person?

FTC is a pretty good job, and not that hard to get. I'd take it over any department outside the top 35 or so. And while it's pretty selective, it's stil a substantially easier job to get than a top-35 academic job. Maybe as hard as getting a top-100 academic job?

Equivalent to schools ranked around top-50, but only can hire Americans so a bit less competition.
It's much better than top 50. They got a bunch of HRMs and high MRMs this year. Harvard, Columbia, Cornell, etc. Good spot for an IO bro interested in policy questions and you get access to some pretty incredible datasets and good colleagues/conferences.
