Specifically the 2/2 or 2/3 teaching load schools? Think of schools that expect 4 or 5 pubs (of which at least three are solid B journals like FM, JBF etc).
How much do FMA schools pay?

2/3 usually does not require 3 solid B's like FM and JBF. If you have 3 FM or JBF, along with 2 something else, this kind of research should be able to satisfy most research/teaching balanced 2-2 schools. If the location of a research/teaching balanced 2-2 school is really desirable, it may need a top-4 journal, along with 2 solid B journals (within say top-10 or top-15). The pay for 2/2 ranges quite a lot, say from $115 (inexpensive location) to close to $150 (rather expensive location). There would be a location discount if you insist on really popular location; e.g., CSU. The pay for 2/3 or 3/3 really goes down quickly. They are mostly teaching schools. Hope this helps.

I received offers last year from two FMA schools which where 2/3 and required 4-6 Bs (2 high quality) They paid between $130k and $140k for nine months, both offered $10k+ in summer support for a couple years. From the offer I accepted and where several acquaintances ended up, 2/2 schools with slightly higher standards (i.e. 1 A) pay $145k to $165k.

Thanks for the information. Could you please name a school having 2/2 teaching load?
