Could someone please shed some light on the negotiation process following the Ruf? What is okay to ask, what is not. Material available online is very vague and general to offer much insight. Danke.

Post My question was what the "pubs standard" for getting invited is. I'm surprised some get W3 right after their PhD given most PhDs don't really have any pubs at all. On 4, I meant what pubs are necessary to get into 2nd stage. Necessary to get invited. Then, of second degree importance. Re Habilitation, is the implication that someone with Habilitation will always be preferred over someone without? No. Habil is completely irrelevant in my opinion.
