They said that 3 As will "probably suffice". I have 3As and I have been denied anyway
I have been denied tenure, is it useful to start a lawsuit?

If you want to stay in academia, just move on. If you don't, you can start a lawsuit. The end result will not be a tenured prof appointment at your department. You may get some money, or (depending on the country and the statement you refer to) they may be forced by the court to appoint you in a non-professor role. However, this will burn bridges to any academic positions in the future.

I told yiu it was 3 As, satisfactory class evals and don’t be a complete d-bag!!! You got the 3 As and your evals were good enough. So then what can you infer from your outcome?
Good luck at your next assignment.

Is it clear that other institutions will learn about that?
Not necessarily. But try to get another job first. Keep in mind that — if you are not a socio/path — lawsuits are extremely stressful.
