   Age difference is irrelevant if you love each other. My grandfather was 20 years older than my grandmother and they had an amazing life for 37 years with 2 great children.
   I think just make sure her character is strong. Some women are already grown up at 22 but many are not.

   This, if you're talking about relationship material then as long as she's emotionally mature and can hold a conversation it's fine. Older man/younger woman is fairly natural. If a guy habitually and exclusively dates women much younger, then I would probably find it a bit creepy as younger women are less able to realize when a guy is a dud.

   emotional maturity = cynical worldview, a job she hates and loves complaining about, tons of baggage about ex boyfriends/husbands, a ticking clock that wants to get the fun spontaneous part of the relationship over ASAP so you can both decide whether you are compatible for having children, a sexual history that admits no novelty or new experiences for the future since she has already tried everything at least once ("sure I love anal, my ex and I used to do that all the time"), etc etc
   Who wouldnt want a partner like that? I pity the 30+ losers who are forced to date cheerful care-free 22 year olds with little life experience, just because they are too beta to attract emotionally mature women their own age

   Ignore what she said, change the subject. You have to dominate a woman’s mind to keep her on side. If she’s talking about her ex, you’ve failed in that mission. One good tactic is to break up with her, then take her back a few days later.

    I strongly suspect OP and those like him just have some accumulated frustrations due to a lack of getting laid when they were younger. But, whatever floats your boat. If you're happy, who cares?

    I personally wouldn't date a 20 yo to save my life, I already feel that dealing with undergrads and even MA students is like running a daycare.
