The 3rd shot did nothing to keep anyone I know from getting COVID. The vax is really out of date now. What would the point of a 4th shot be?
Is anyone going to get a 4th shot of the original vax?

Sure. I had extremely minimal side effects from my first 3.
I am not banging down the door to get it, but if it becomes standard to get an annual shot like a flu shot, I am on board.
I found the hysteria about it both pro and con a little ridiculous. I am looking forward to the time where it is a lot like the flu shot. A lot of people get it. A lot of people don't, some because they can't be bothered, some who want to save themselves the side effects and run the risk, and some for silly conspiratorial reasons. But nobody really knows or cares what anyone else does. We are a big part of the way there, as vaccines have stopped being "the current thing", but we still have a fair bit to go.

You are on pace to get 4 vaccines a year.

Well, it has been well over a year since my first and I haven't got a fourth yet, so not really. But sure, I would have no inherent objection to 4 shots a year.
The obsession with the number of shots by anti-vaxxers puzzles me. It seems like you expect a lot of people to say "I was perfectly happy to get 2 shots, but more than that is outrageous." I can't fathom what you picture is going on in those people's heads. "I trust the medical experts, but only up to this very specific point"?
I totally get that if you were very against getting any shots but had to for work or something, each subsequent mandated shot is an additional imposition. But I don't see how you can think it will be a good recruiting tool to your anti-vax cause.
I am sure a couple anonymous people will reply and say how they were fine with the first two and outraged by the booster. But unless you can point me to actual people putting their name behind that odd position, I find it hard to believe they exist in non-trivial numbers.
