Also, are you Portuguese?
Is nova a good school for a non EU international student?
-
Yes, I am portuguese.
In Portugal, McKinsey and BCG very rarely hire from Portuguese univs outside of Nova and Catolica. But people from other universities sometimes get interviews. Its just endogenous that those who are good usually were already in nova or catolica.
Same for italy, it’s unlikely that a strong candidate was not in bocconi to begin with.

I heard catolica has hotter women and a classier crowd. Is it true?

What's the worst that can happen with a nova degree? I end up with no job and stay unemployed?
Well, apart from this:
Worst it can happen I guess you can be raped and die...
The worst case scenario, within reasonable limits, is that you end up with no job and stay unemployed, you spend hundreds of € a month just for living, and in the end you have to go back to your country (or get kicked out of the EU when your Visa expires).
Let's say, as an oversimplification, that the best students of Bocconi, UPF, and Nova can get the best jobs in international firms in Europe and that the median students can get a very good job in the country of the program itself (but probably the actual placements that you see are affected by unobservable characteristics such as their personal connections). Not knowing the local language is a problem for most local jobs (and probably even a negative factor for many of the jobs you could aim at, for which it is not strictly required).
Let's say that your €750/month internship in Milan after a Bocconi Bachelor's is indicative of what you can get in Portugal after a Nova Master's. Accounting for a lower CoL but for a higher degree and assuming you learn some Portuguese, let's say €1000/month; but I don't think the distribution to be a normal here, probably unemployment at 0€ is actually a fairly probable possibility, and €2000 almost impossible. Are you willing to take your chances? Moreover, let's say you can live in Portugal for a year with 500-800 €/month, can this (the master + this experience) be at least useful to get a job back home? What about the master alone? You should ask yourself those questions.

No, I'm an eurobro. I have no idea on how much that degree (+work experience?) can be useful for you back home in India. But I think this is one of the main point to consider, given the possibility that you may be unemployed (or underemployed) in Europe.
