Someone that refereed 10 papers and rejected all 10 didnt “significantly” deviate from the journal’s average 6-7% acceptance rate. A ref that rejects 20 and accepts 1 is still close to the journal’s target. However those with 30+ straight rejections should be avoided.

Because they want to kill competition. Chordia wants to be the top dog in market microstructure and kills any paper remotely related to it. Irvine wants to milk Ancerno institutional trading data as much as possible and kills every paper that uses the data.
Why do a-hole reviewers continue to review papers? After 30 straight rejections, shouldn't you know your own type and then refuse to review?
