   I'm not attacking anyone. He's simply not an academic heavyweight. SAme with saad, pinker, weinstein, etc. They're all mediocre at best. And psychology as a field isn't exactly for the brilliant minds out there. Even Ta/l/eb thinks Pepperson is a cr/ank.

   You're really really desperate. Jordan can be as influential and famous as Einstein and it doesn't change the validity of his political opinions.

   My point is this. You can't have a PhD in being right about the choice between free speech and cancel culture. Look at the arguments and not what degrees they have or how famous they are. This is undergrad philosophy 101.

   Here is what I think is going on: U of T hired Paul Bloom. Peterson isn’t the big man on campus anymore or at least he feels that he is matched by someone of an equal stature but without being radioactive.

   Honestly, do you think UofT gives a shi/et about this guy? He wasn't even active in research anymore. He probably would have spent most of his time on social media.

   This is just false. But it makes the mediocre white men feel better, so they are happy. People always those who lie to them to make them feel better. Weak men follow JP. But those weak men following JP are probably better off than going into darker areas of the internet so I guess JP helps in some ways.

   First, my qualified and supremely trained heterosaxual whi te male graduate students (and I’ve had many others, by the way) face a negligible chance of being offered university research positions, despite stellar scientific dossiers. This is partly because of Diversity, Inclusivity and Equity mandates (my preferred acronym: D I E). These have been imposed universally in academia, despite the fact that university hiring committees had already done everything reasonable for all the years of my career, and then some, to ensure that no qualified “minority” candidates were ever overlooked. My students are also partly unacceptable precisely because they are my students. I am academic persona non grata, because of my unacceptable philosophical positions. And this isn’t just some inconvenience. These facts rendered my job morally untenable. How can I accept prospective researchers and train them in good conscience knowing their employment prospects to be minimal?
