I have an applied paper in labor economics. I am trying to submit it to one of them. Which one is relatively easier to get published?
Journal of labor economics vs Journal of Human Resources

I heard from my advisor JOLE is only for HRM people (e.g., D. Card, R. Frey, etc). LRM peple is automatically desk-rejected and today only HRM peple is submetting there.
JHR is more fair and open to LRM people, so unsurprisingly many LRM are publishing there today.
So, if you are LRM, then submitt to JHR.
(as a illustration: check how many JHR Card or Frey have)
