the entire h1b program in the united states is the reason why youre jobless. It is incredibly silly system. When there is a shortage of workers, salaries go up and people gravitate towards those jobs. But with h1bs, there is never a shortage. Just a continuous inflow of labor.

But you are now potentially going to work at McDonalds while some indian schmuck who has been reciting leetcoder problems since we he was 16 is going to be making 200k a year.
