How is LBS PhD program for someone interested in macro? They seem to have a strong faculty

I did my PhD at LBS Econ, but in micro. I was happy with my advisors and ended up with a decent job. So I don't know the counterfactual, but my feeling is it suited me just fine.

Sorry, not really. It's been a while and the faculty has changed. But generally I got the feeling because it was such a small group as a PhD you were pretty well taken care of. And you can hang out with the LSE/UCL crowd, which is also nice if you want to offset the small department.

Current LBS finance student here. Macro there is strong if you manage to work with Lucrezia, Helene or Paolo Surico.
Placements recently have not been that good though. It may change with Luis Fonseca and Rustam Jamilov. They both seem happy there.Hi, Sorry to trouble you. I am applying for LBS econ this year. What do you think that really matters for PhD admission into LBS?
