LDS missionaries are leaving Ukraine

As a former LDS missionary in a very dangerous area (I almost got k1lled twice) and friends with other former missionaries who served in some of the most dangerous places on Earth (like San Pedro Sula, Honduras) I can say with confidence that the LDS church generally only pulls missionaries out when legally forced to do so (even then it will try to skirt the law if possible like it has in Russia) or if the level of danger is truly off the charts. The LDS church decided to pull missionaries out of Europe just one week before World War II began. Some of the missionaries got out with only hours to spare before war started and national borders closed. A rapid and logistically complex LDS missionary withdrawal is a very ominous signal because the church missionary department has a team of former C1A agents and diplomats (BYU is a target recruiting school for the State Department and C1A) who leverage their intelligence contacts in real time to determine if and when to pull missionaries out of a country.

Oh no, not the LDS missionaries!

I would watch this movie. This sounds amazing.

“Oh no we escaped to the US TWO YEARS before the war with Germany began!”
Given their history of perpetrating genocide, the only danger would be that the Mormons joined the Germans.

They escaped with only hours before war in Europe began, not two years before (World War II started in Europe in 1939, not with US involvement in 1941). The church was initially a fan of H1tler and praised him in church publications because the leaders thought that H1tler's health code was similar to the LDS church's "Word of Wisdom". There are photos of the church president at the time (Heber J. Grant) in front of a swast1ka flag. The mood changed, however, when his treatment of the J3ws was popularly revealed. Then the church was internally split in their feelings and there were some prominent LDS anti-Naz1 activists like Helmuth Hubener (who was ex3cuted).

For those claiming that Mormons will only leave their missions when danger is “off the charts:” fourteen Mormon missionaries have been kîlled in the past hundreds years, out of millions of Mormon missionaries in that time period.
Only Mormon martyrs in the 20th century were mürdered by other Mormons.
Don’t fall for their propaganda.

Probably way way lower than the general murder rate. Either they are being protected by God, or they are being pulled out at the slightest sign of danger.

The C1A recruits from BYU because of historical connections and because BYU has arguably the best foreign language training program in the world (because of the highly global nature of the LDS church's large missionary program). The church's temple rituals (derived from Freemas0nry) and 19th century history of hiding p0lygam1sts have also primed the church members to being used to keep secrets.
Why would the CIA choose to recruit from BYU? Because of their known excellence for singing?
