not just reg x y, robust. Can anybody please pass resources on where to learn STATA from scratch? Like doing everything say from data cleaning/manipulating to running loops, doing bootstraps etc. and so on and so forth.
Learning STATA from scratch

Start an empirical project using Stata. I am serious.
Dumb question, but what type of data file would I use? Could I have data in excel? Obviously I wouldn't have a stata data file if I haven't used stata yet.
There are some questions that are too dumb to ask.

Stata comes with a lot of example datasets. Start with those, plus you get to follow along the examples in the documentation. Go to file >> example datasets

That, or...you know OP...you could import excel data into stata. These are some of those sort of questions you could just easily find out yourself how to do.
