That's not really what the paper is about and his argument was kind of interesting.
That having been said, his work of matching dsge models to historical events made it clear to me how empty dsge models are.

UCLA has a great group, with several "young seniors" who were promoted from within. With a couple of empty slots, I imagine they'll go after some younger folk.
UCLA to toilet. They have failed to hire anyone senior in macro for at least ten years and now they lose even people past their prime like Farmer and Ohanian.
