So harassment is a difference of opinion now. Noted
https://newsroom.asu.edu/node/1589
asu statement
I read it as the University backing the two students who were harassed.
I read it as not taking sides until the whole thing blows over and hopefully goes away on its own. Typical bureaucratic cow.ardice.

No, you’re NOT a real gamer.
I’m so sick of all these people that think they’re gamers. No, you’re not. Most of you are not even close to being gamers. I see these people saying “I put well over 100 hours in this game, it’s great!” that’s nothing, most of us can easily put 300+ hours in all our games. I see people who only have a Nintendo Switch and claim to be gamers. Come talk to me when you pick up a PS4 controller then we be friends.Real gamers play on PC as their main gaming device. I can tell by your comment you're not a real gamer.

Seeing behavior like this over the years has made me appreciate my moderate and conservative black colleagues and friends more.
These are the same women

Wow. Screaming at a stranger in the library because you don’t like his sticker. What a ter/rible person she is. Those boys should file a haras/sment complaint.
And send a strongly worded letter to the administration too!
Are you really such a dingus that you don’t understand every level, every nook and cranny, of the formal education and academic apparatus is infested with this stuff?
File a complaint, lol. So out of touch.Nah, you don’t get it. These girls engaged in rac/ist haras/sment. There are rules against that. It will be hilarious to watch anyone try to explain why it’s okay for them to do it. You’d put admin in a very tight spot, and whatever the outcome it will be a huge scandal. It’s a very next level tr00l.
Reporting race harassment to the admin is smart for two reasons. The first is it partly protects you because the aggressors may possibly file a race harassment complaint for "creating an unsafe space". Filing first makes subsequent filings look like retaliation. Second it means the admin cannot sweep it under the rug because they have to apply consistent standards towards adjudicating such incidents otherwise they open themselves up to significant financial and legal liabilities.

This dissertation will result in three deliverables: (1) a persuasive critical literature review that will define modernity’s pathology, (2) a qualitative research paper on the traits of modernity’s pathology, and (3) a documentary and contextual toolkit for decoloniality.

Someone please make sense of this mess:
Climate Change and Colonialism: Exploring Decoloniality as a Response to Climate Change
My research seeks to explore Western society’s inability to substantively address climate change, and what I have termed as modernity’s pathology. This dissertation will result in three deliverables: (1) a persuasive critical literature review that will define modernity’s pathology, (2) a qualitative research paper on the traits of modernity’s pathology, and (3) a documentary and contextual toolkit for decoloniality. In paper one, I will show the connections of climate change and colonization by drawing on political ecology and critical sustainability literature. After building a case for Western society’s responsibility for climate change, I will draw on radical psychology to examine why many of modern society’s Western leaders tend to deny or ignore climate change and related systemic issues. I propose such a mindset to be an expression of a societal illness I define as modernity’s pathology. In paper two, I will describe the traits and characteristics of modernity’s pathology through an autoethnography of my community organizing and qualitative interviews with indigenous leaders. Finally, for deliverable three, I will draw on decolonial and indigenous studies to identify ways to confront and heal modernity’s pathology. I will do so using a decolonial methodology as well as grounded theory. Methods for all three deliverables include a critical argumentative literature review, autoethnography, ethnography, art-based methods, a documentary and qualitative interviews. My research intends to change the conversation around climate change, addressing the structural power-based issues and mentality in Western society that prevents climate justice and
climate action.
