Is it ok?
List GPA on CV?

What about ranking, is it good to put my rank?
No. Usually, the reference letters you get from your supervisors or the department will include information on ranking. You will be ranked relative to your peers going out in the market and also across time among all of the previous PhD candidates that completed the degree. If the ranking you put in your cv does not correspond to the letters then it may signal over or under confidence. Not good. LRM dept demand side here.

But isn't rank determined on the basis of grades? Why should mine be different from the professor's?

Rankings do not depend only on gpas but your research contributions, and depending on the school, other stuff like community service, refereeing activitiea, etc. Its hard to determine where you stand in a competitive cohort, only the dept makes this determination.

listing gpa no good. faculty no care about gpa. ranking on grades in courses only count. Thursby show several year ago that not significant difference between gpa x and those (x-0.2) or (x+0.2). interesting for you but listing gpa no good. gpa generally not too reliable for schools under approx 10-20 anyway and can change base on difficulty of courses and grade inflation. make good sense but gpa no good.

This is a beautiful and underappreciated post.
